Move-In Ready Checklist

After you've applied to SUNY CCC, claimed/activated your MyCCC account, and completed the Housing Contract, check off these steps:

• Pay your $450 initial payment (security deposit $250 and down payment $200).
  
  
• Register for Classes. Residents must enroll as full-time students (a minimum  of 12 credits). 
  • make an appointment with an Educational Planner at the Enrollment Advisement Center:
    • new student appointment
    • continuing student appointment
  • make an appointment with your faculty advisor
  • register online through MyBanner
    
    
• File your FAFSA, and complete the FA process. A FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) must be completed if you intend to help pay for Perry Hall with Financial Aid. If you do not intend to use Financial Aid to pay your housing expenses, then we still need to know how you will pay for housing.
  
  
• Complete a New York State Certificate of Residence: If you are a NYS resident, you submit a COR request to your county of residence.  Visit our Certificate of Residence page for information.
  
  
• Health Insurance –Every Perry Hall resident must have current health insurance coverage. The College automatically enrolls you in SUNY CCC's student health insurance plan.  If you already have health insurance coverage, you must complete an online waiver request using this form. 
  
  
• Complete the Pre-Enrollment Health Form and supply proof of immunizations to SUNY CCC’s Health Office.
  
  
• Pay any outstanding balance on your student bill:
  • Pay online in MyCorning, MyBanner, Account Summary, Pay Now using electronic check or VISA/MC
  • Pay by mail: Checks/Money Order made payable to Corning Community College
  • Sign up for an Installment Plan: Make payments on your balance due in a series of four equal installments. There is a $30.00, non-refundable processing fee. Follow the path above, and when you get to the "Pay Now," you will see the option to sign up for a payment plan.  Please note, the first payment, along with the $30 fee, is due prior to move-in day, regardless of the date included on the payment plan information.  To schedule a payment prior to the date indicated, scroll all the way to the bottom of that page to change the payment date to prior to move-in.
