Accreditation
Corning Community College (CCC) is an accredited institution and a member of the Middle
States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE or the Commission) www.msche.org. CCC's
accreditation status is accreditation reaffirmed. The Commission’s most recent action on the institution’s accreditation status on June
27, 2024 was to reaffirm accreditation. MSCHE is recognized by the U.S. Secretary
of Education to conduct accreditation and pre-accreditation (candidate status) activities
for institutions of higher education including distance, correspondence education,
and direct assessment programs offered at those institutions. The Commission’s geographic

The CCC Nursing Education Program is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Education in Nursing, Inc. (ACEN), 3343 Peachtree Road NE, Suite 850, Atlanta, Georgia, 30326. ACEN may be contacted at 404-975-5000 for program information.
CCC is approved by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for educational benefits to qualified veterans under existing applicable public laws. CCC is also approved under Chapter 35, Title 38, U.S.C. (a program of educational aid for children, spouses, and survivors of veterans whose deaths or permanent total disabilities were a result of injuries or diseases received from their military service).
The degree programs at Corning Community College are registered with the New York State Education Department and are approved by the State University of New York Board of Trustees.
