Make a Reservation

Reservations are required for use of the Makerspace. The Makerspace might be closed to the public occasionally for special events or during class use. Please make a reservation or verify availability before your visit.

Orientation and Training

Before using the Makerspace for the first time, you will be required to go through a brief, free safety orientation for the Makerspace in general and also sign a waiver form. If it’s your first time using a specific piece of equipment, please allow some time for training on that equipment. For some equipment, it will be relatively quick, especially if you are already familiar with it, but the more complicated machines might take an hour or more for training.

Cost

For most of the equipment in the Makerspace, there is an hourly fee that you will need to pay when you make your reservation. For other equipment, like the 3D printers and vinyl cutters, the cost is based on how much material you use, if you use our filament or vinyl. There is a small hourly fee if you bring your own material, and you can pay after you use the equipment.  A list of makerspace equipment and costs is available here. Important: we only accept credit or debit cards at this time, and cannot take cash or other forms of payment.
