Level 2 Placement Review

Before taking a placement exam

It is highly recommended that you complete the Level 2 Placement Review at least once.
It is important to become familiar with the online system to ensure you enter answers in the correct format.
Review and understand the Orientation to Lumen OHM software assignment.
Placement exams are not reviewed for syntax errors and partial credit is not given.
Failure to enter answers in the proper format will lower your score and possibly lower your placement level.
No calculator is allowed during the Level 2 Placement Exam.

The Placement Level 2 Exam has 25 questions and the results needed for placement are as follows

If Level 2 Placement Exam Score ≥ 80 then placement result is LEVEL 2 Eligible math courses are MATH 0970 Quantitative Reasoning I or Math 0980 Beginning Algebra
If 70 ≤ Level 2 Placement Exam Score < 80 then placement result is LEVEL 1 Eligible math courses are MATH 0860 Basic Math Review or MATH 0960 Prealgebra
If Level 2 Placement Exam Score < 70 then the placement result is LEVEL 1 Eligible math courses is MATH 0960 Prealgebra
