This microcredential aligns with requirements for the Machine Tool Technology, A.A.S. degree should students choose to continue their education after obtaining the microcredential.

Microcredential

There is a need for the availability of shorter non-degree credentials in the Machining discipline. In response to needs identified by SUNY CCC’s Workforce Education personnel who are interfacing with local industry supplying technical training. This microcredential is the starting point for someone who is interested in manufacturing and machining.
