John Mold
“All of the wonderful people at CCC, fellow students and professors alike,” John Mold remembers fondly. “The community and environment that SUNY Corning Community College has built is unrivaled in comparison to any other school environment I have been a part of.”
John earned his Associate of Science Degree in Liberal Arts & Sciences -- Mathematics & Science in 2013 from SUNY Corning Community College, but he didn’t stop there.
After CCC, John went on to the Rochester Institute of Technology, earning a Bachelor’s in Molecular Bioscience and Biotechnology in 2015.
John worked in Washington State, but landed back in New York as a Process Sciences
Associate II at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc., in the Upstream Investigations Group.,
in Rensselaer, where he has worked since early 2018.
“My relevant work experience includes upstream support of bio-pharmaceutical drug production, experience with GMP work environments, and manipulation/growth of mammalian cell culture while demonstrating high levels sterile/anti-septic techniques. Current work focuses on scale down procedures and investigations in support of upstream commercial manufacturing,” according to John’s LinkedIn profile.
John is doing great things in his career and it all started at SUNY Corning Community College.
