SUNY Pathways Scholars Awards Available

SUNY Corning Community College, along with the State University of New York, encourages
interested students to apply for the SUNY Pathways Scholars Award Program. The opportunity
helps to eliminate financial barriers for high-performing students committed to completing
their associate and bachelor’s degree at a SUNY college.
In total, SUNY will support as many as 2,000 Pathways Scholars during the upcoming
fall 2020 semester.
Participants will receive up to $500 to use for non-tuition related expenses during
their first year. Upon completion of their associate degree, those enrolled in a SUNY
bachelor’s degree program will receive an additional $1,000 stipend.
To qualify, students must:
- Have graduated from a high school in New York State in 2020 with an average of at least 80%
- Enroll for the first time as a full-time student in an associate degree program at
a SUNY community college or college of technology SUNY CCC has 31 Pathways Scholars
Awards to grant, which will be given on a first-come, first served basis to those
who meet requirements. Students are encouraged to apply by Thursday, August 13th.
