Motivational Speaker Brian Medler Inspires Local Educators at SUNY Corning Community College
Corning, N.Y.-- On Monday, January 29, SUNY Corning Community College (CCC) hosted Brian Medler, motivational speaker and author of Watch Your Mouth, Non-Negotiables for Success with Toughest Kids. The event, organized by CCC's Workforce Education & Academic Pathways (WEAP) division, brought together more than 120 local educators for a staff development training session. This initiative was made possible through a SUNY Workforce Development Grant.

Educators from over 10 school districts attended the event, benefiting from practical and actionable insights to enhance their teaching skills.
Nathan Shed, General Music and Choir Teacher at Elmira City Middle School, shared his excitment for Medler's presentation: "I connected with Brian, especially given the area that I and so many of the audience teach in. He provided practical strategies for everyone to take to the classroom."
The WEAP division at CCC offers a wide range of educational opportunities, including non-credit training, certification programs, credit courses, short-term training, and micro-credentials.
