Optical Systems Technology

Monroe Community College and Corning Community College, part of the State University of New York, have entered an articulation agreement (commonly referred to as a 1+1 agreement). This collaboration aims to support transfer students as they transition to Monroe Community College to complete the Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Optical Systems Technology.

The Optical Systems Technology agreement is designed for all students, both young and old, to learn the topics of Optical Technology. Students who have an interest in using their hands to create items or to play sports, video games, Legos, knit, crochet, or have similar hobbies, will enjoy this program.

Students in this program will spend half their time at Corning Community College and the other half in a hybrid program with Monroe Community College. Some travel to Rochester, New York, is required.
