Effective Communication
Much of life’s conflicts and misunderstandings between people can be traced back to lack of effective communication. Through experiential learning, this session conveys the key elements of listening and how to communicate with others to accomplish work and personal goals while maintaining the mutual relationship. The participants will understand their own communication style and how that can impact working with others.
In this 8 hour course, learners will identify their communication strengths & weaknesses, practice verbal and nonverbal communication, and develop tools for communicating in a variety of ways and in a variety of settings. Students attending this course should be prepared to share and participate fully.
