College Announces Spring 2021 Plan
In preparation for the Spring semester, here is an outline of some of the key points and requirements in the College’s Spring 2021 plan, which is aligned with SUNY requirements.
The Spring 2021 semester begins Feb. 1 with online, remote, hybrid, and fully on-campus class sections. An overview of information, resources, and contact information is in this Student Resource Guide.
COVID-19 screening is required for all visitors to campus. Campus signs direct people
to the screening location at each SUNY CCC location. Employees and students should
use the electronic screening form for each group available on MyCCC, and must stop
at a screening station if they have not submitted the screening form prior to coming
to campus each day. Masks are required when inside buildings. Masks are also required
outside when 6 foot social distancing cannot be maintained.
The SUNY COVID Tracker has numbers of COVID-19 cases. Not all cases listed for SUNY CCC involve campus exposure, as it is a list of the total number of students and employees testing positive, whether they have recently been on campus or not. If there is campus exposure, contact tracing is implemented by the local departments of health. The College and the local health departments have a solid process in place, and you will be notified if you have had potential exposure on campus. It is very important that you fill out the daily COVID-19 Screening form as this helps the contract tracers know what buildings you were in each day, and therefore, if you need to be contacted.
Thank you for keeping yourself and others safe and with social distancing, mask-wearing, hand washing, self-screening, and testing.
We are looking forward to seeing our campus community both in-person or online for the Spring 2021 semester!
