Admission Requirements for International Students
SUNY Corning Community College International Student Admission Requirements 2020-2021 Academic Year International prospective students need:
Complete SUNY CCC admissions application
Official high school and/or college transcripts evaluated by World Education Services (WES) & submitted*
SUNY International Student Financial Statement Form signed, certified & submitted**
Official TOEFL scores submitted from testing center***
* Official, evaluated transcripts of previous schools attended (secondary or college-level)
sent to us from the approved evaluating center: World Education Services (WES).

** International students are required to demonstrate sufficient financial funds to support them for the duration of their stay in the United States. Students must complete the finances form and have signed and certified by a bank official. The finances form must show adequate funds to cover the tuition, fees and other costs listed on the budget sheet. Additionally, if any parts of the costs are sponsored, you will need to have the sponsor sign the finances form or provide a letter stating what expenses they are providing.
***Corning Community College requires the original results of a Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) examination from any student who is not a native English speaker and who has not attended at least two years of high school or college in the United States. The minimum TOEFL score is 79-80 (internet based), 213 (computer-based), or 550 (written). Information and registration material can be obtained from TOEFL Services, P.O. Box 6151, Princeton, New Jersey 08541-6151.
An I-20 will only be issued after all of the above requirements are met.
