At a special meeting of the SUNY Corning Community College Regional Board of Trustees (RBOT) this week, members decided to move forward one of the presidential finalists for the position of President of SUNY Corning Community College. This step sends the candidate for consideration to the State University of New York Chancellor Kristina M. Johnson and the SUNY Board of Trustees. The decision will be considered in late March, at which time the College will resume communication. The search process is confidential until the public announcement during the SUNY Board of Trustees Meeting.
“When considering every aspect of the process, we are exceptionally pleased,” said SUNY Corning Community College RBOT Board Chair Carl H. Blowers. “The process was inclusive and exhaustive. The caliber of candidates was superb. I look forward to seeing where the next president will take our community’s college.”
