Will Wickham

Will Wickham is a product of the Finger Lakes area, having grown up on the eastern shores of Seneca Lake. An early start in music, provided by his musician grandmother, eventually led to studies in Music Theory and Composition at SUNY Fredonia. Will primarily teaches music theory related courses at CCC: Fundamentals of Music, Intro to Music Theory, Intro to Harmony, and occasional classes on Finale Music Publishing Software. He also happily moonlights as music director for Corning Community College musical theater productions.

Will has served as Director Music at St. Mary’s Church, Corning, and has worked with choirs at Elmira College and the Pro Musica Singers of the Sayre-Waverly area. He is currently the music director of The Cantata Singers, based in Chemung County. Choirs under his direction have performed all types of music from “collegiate a cappella” to the classics including the great works by Mozart and Bach. As a composer and arranger, Will has written and arranged choral, band, and orchestral works, as well as movie and theater music.
