Born and raised in Natural Bridge, NY, Patrick Burdick holds an A.S. degree in Engineering Science from Broome Community College, a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson University, and an M.A. degree in Mathematics/Applied Statistics from The University of New Mexico.
Patrick has worked as a Nuclear Project Engineer for General Dynamics Corporation, Groton CT; as a Research and Development Statistician for BestFoods Corporation, North America, Somerset NJ; and as a Biomedical Statistician for Bassett Medical Center (an affiliate of Columbia University), in Cooperstown, NY. In addition to his teaching service at Corning Community College, which began in 2010, He has taught Mathematics and Statistics at SUNY Delhi and at Clinton Community College in Plattsburgh, NY.
Patrick is a member of the American Statistical Association and the New York State Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges (NYSMATYC). He is also a published poet and an audiophile with extracurricular interests in Biblical Mariology. Patrick enjoys many musical genres, his favorite being the organ works of Johann Sebastian Bach.
