Ann Marie Coons is an adjunct instructor at Corning Community College and has been teaching in various capacities since 2005. Ann Marie has always lived in the Corning area and is a graduate of Corning Community College.  She received her Bachelor’s Degree from SUNY Geneseo and her Master’s Degree from Vermont College of Norwich University. After working seventeen years in Human Resources at Arnot Health, she began a new career in academia.  Initially, she worked in Career Development advising students and conducting workshops.  Ann Marie then began teaching Organizational Behavior, Career Planning, Job Search Strategies, Understanding Workplace Expectations and First Year Experience.  She then transferred to full time faculty as the First Year Experience Coordinator.  Currently, she is an adjunct instructor teaching online classes and serving as an ACE liaison.
