In 2006, Dan Mori quit his job in corporate America and joined forces with Francis Freeman and Mike Lee in Employment Solutions of New York, Inc. The three soon recognized that one of the largest challenges facing businesses in the Southern Tier was a shortage of quality employees. It seemed that every hiring manager they spoke to struggled to find the top talent they desperately needed. With no experience in the industry, the Employment Solutions team set out to learn what it would take to build a successful staffing company. They asked 25 local employers one simple question: “What do you expect from your staffing agency?” The answer? Companies wanted flexibility and the ability to be part of the recruiting process.
Employment Solutions developed a dynamic recruiting process that would give clients the ability to custom tailor each step to most closely match they way they hire. This process can be applied successfully to temporary, temp-to-perm, and direct hire placements. Employment Solutions has experienced tremendous success—measured in the number of great employees they have placed with clients. They have grown from one little office in Elmira, NY to seven offices throughout the northeast, and currently provide staffing and recruiting services in 23 states.
