Teaching

My primary goal as an educator is to facilitate the development of student’s competence, confidence, and compassion. With this goal in mind, I aim to foster learning environments and employ teaching strategies that emphasize the process of learning and help students acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes to be able to provide holistic, patient centered, and evidence based care. In addition, I intend to be an educator who encourages students to remain committed and enthusiastic about the profession and discipline of nursing by encouraging them to engage in collaborative teams, life-long learning, and self-care.
