Michael Beykirch, full professor of World Languages, has been teaching at Corning Community College since 1991. Having also earned his second-degree black belt in Aikido, he has offered evening sessions on functional self-defense. 

Moreover, a dedicated learner of Kanien'kéha, he advocates the return of the land to the Native Nations—Land Back.
