Ordinary differential equations, including first and sectioned order equations; applications in science, engineering, and geometry; the use of infinite series and complex numbers in solving equations; a discussion of nth order linear differential equations; an introduction to LaPlace transforms; numerical methods and systems of differential equations. <I> (4 cr. hrs.) (Fall). <br><b>Prerequisite:</b> MATH 1620. A graphing calculator is required; Texas Instruments TI-83 or TI-84 recommended.</I>
