Listen now with the Baron Player:
"The Baron" is SUNY Corning Community College's internet radio station.
Broadcasting across the internet to — everywhere!
First broadcasting in June 2021, The Baron will provide listeners with music from the public domain-open source archives of historical music and spoken word.
As we build the station, we will add student- and staff-curated content as a service to the College and the greater community along the Twin Tiers of New York and Pennsylvania.
The Baron is working to create, curate and communicate student-created productions and live performances, musical performances, interviews, academic lectures and news of the campus.
We're just getting started — so stay tuned to The Baron as we grow our content and our audience! Thanks for listening to — The Baron.
Interim Station Manager:
Jeff Macharyas, Director of Marketing

"You see, wire telegraph is a kind of a very, very long cat. You pull his tail in
New York and his head is meowing in Los Angeles. Do you understand this? And radio
operates exactly the same way: you send signals here, they receive them there. The
only difference is that there is no cat."
