The Red Barons Hall of Fame was created in 2011 to recognize the role of Intercollegiate Athletics at SUNY Corning Community College, remember traditions, and honor those who have made significant achievements or made a positive impact upon SUNY CCC athletics.
Hall of Fame Nominations
Former student athletes named to the Hall of Fame are those who maintained sound academic performance and demonstrated outstanding athletic accomplishments as a student at SUNY CCC. Examples of outstanding accomplishments include being awarded All-Conference, All-Region, or All-American status.
Coaches play a critical role in SUNY CCC Athletics. Those selected for induction into the Hall of Fame have made an outstanding contribution to both the College’s Athletics program and the student athletes who competed under their leadership. Coaches named to the Hall of Fame also have achieved major accomplishments such as coach of the year and championship titles.
SUNY CCC also recognizes College administrators and contributors who have made outstanding and exceptional contributions that support the growth, popularity, and/or community and campus acceptance of the Intercollegiate Athletics program.
