SUNY Corning Community College has graduated many impressive alumni who have gone on to do great things. Find out more about them, and how you can connect through our Alumni Program.

At SUNY Corning Community College, our Alumni are our greatest achievements.

Our Alumni Program represents more than 30,000 Alumni around the world. Many have gone on to become successful leaders in their communities, from educators and administrators to health care providers and CEOs of major companies. Our most celebrated alumnus is retired space shuttle commander Colonel Eileen M. Collins, USAF ’76, for whom our Observatory has been named. Other highly successful Alumni include Dr. Jay S. Hanas ’68, educator and scientist at the University of Oklahoma; Lawrence R. Johnston ’70, former CEO and Chairman of the Board for Albertsons, Inc.; Clarence F. Bercher ‘66, former President of GTE Communications Corporation; and many more who are featured on our Distinguished Alumni page.

The Alumni Program Committee is working on ways to reach and serve our Alumni in the 21st century. Visit our Special Events page for opportunities to join us for networking events throughout the year.

We encourage you to share your success stories and reconnect with the College and fellow Alumni. Please contact the Office of the Alumni Development Coordinator at 607-962-9473 or to tell us what you're doing, to become a volunteer, or if you have any comments and suggestions.
