The Pennsylvania College of Technology and SUNY Corning Community College (CCC) have established a memorandum of understanding for the purpose of offering in-state PA tuition to graduating CCC students who wish to continue their education at the Pennsylvania College of Technology.

To take advantage of the terms of this agreement, SUNY Corning Community College graduates must hold an A.A., A.S., or A.A.S. degree. Certificate programs are not included in this agreement.

Any student who graduates from SUNY Corning Community College with an Associate in Arts (A.A.), Associate in Science (A.S.),  or Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree through Spring 2024 will be eligible for the PA in-state tuition rate. This eligibility will be in effect for students enrolling at Penn College from Fall 2019 through Fall 2024. 

This agreement does not guarantee acceptance of SUNY Corning Community College graduates into Penn College competitive majors or guarantee acceptance into Penn College programs that have a waiting list. At the time of signing of this agreement, competitive majors were Dental Hygiene, Emergency Medical Services, Nursing, Occupational Therapy Assistant? Physical Therapy Assistant, Physician Assistant, Radiography, and Surgical Technology. Students can contact Penn College for a current list of competitive majors and majors with a waiting list.

Courses must be completed with a “C” or higher (2.0 on a 4.0 scale) to be accepted for transfer. Coursework completed by students will be evaluated on an individual basis.
