Corning Community College employs a staff of three Peace Officers certified through New York State Department of Criminal Justice Services. Community College Peace Officers are authorized by law to make arrests and conduct criminal investigations into crimes that occur at the college. In addition, there are three full-time and multiple part-time Public Safety Officers that are NYS licensed security guards and trained yearly in CPR, AED, and Basic First Aid.
The Corning Community College Annual Security Report is organized to meet the compliance requirements of the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Crime Statistics Act and the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008.
