Academic Programs

Five academic divisions offer 39 academic programs and more than 800 credit and non-credit courses. In addition to daytime offerings on campus, a wide variety of credit and non-credit courses are taught in the evening and during the summer at various locations throughout Steuben, Chemung, Schuyler, Tioga and Yates counties.

To be eligible to receive financial aid as a student, you must be accepted into one of the following approved transfer or career programs:

Transfer Programs

An Associate of Science (A.S.) or Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree prepares you for easy transfer to a four-year college or university to complete a baccalaureate (B.A. or B.S.) degree.

Career Programs

An Applied Associate of Science (A.A.S.) degree prepares you for immediate entry into the workforce into a technical or paraprofessional position. An Associate of Occupational Studies (A.O.S.) degree and Certificate have specialized career focuses for immediate entry into the world of work.


Corning Community College is a member of the State University of New York (SUNY), and is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission Inc. (NLNAC).
