SHRM Certification is the process whereby human resource professionals or recent college graduates may become credentialed and are measured alongside peers for their knowledge and dedication to the profession. The SHRM Certification is offered by the Society for Human Resource Management, an international career organization managed and supported by human resource professionals. The designation of the SHRM Certificate is considered an official recognition of the human resource professional within this network.
The levels of the certification are based on two factors - years of service to human resource work and the ability to pass a challenging exam. Corning Community College offers three levels set forth by SHRM:
Starts October 23 and ends December 11. Class will meet Wednesdays from 6:00 - 9:00 pm at Airport Corporate Park, Daniel Zenker Drive in Big Flats.
Cost: $995 includes tuition and all training materials. The certification exam is administered by HR Certification Institute (HRCI.org) and is an additional cost depending on which exam (PHR or SPHR) and your SHRM affiliation.
