What is the Corning Community College Development Foundation, Inc.?
The Foundation is a separate, non-profit, tax-exempt corporation whose purpose is to support the mission of Corning Community College. The Foundation Board of Directors is comprised of community members from the three counties served by CCC. These individuals generously give of their time, talents and resources.

How are gifts to the Corning Community College Development Foundation used?
Gifts to the Foundation can be used in various areas. Gifts can be used to support:
Access and Opportunity
     Educational Outreach
     Student Scholarships
Growth and Development
     Program Development
     Technology Upgrades
Community Enrichment
     Infrastructure
     Visiting Scholar Series
Unrestricted, which is used where most needed

Can I designate my gift for a particular purpose?
Yes. Please be sure to make all gift designations in writing. This can be done by marking the appropriate box on a pledge card or including a note or memo with your gift.

Will my gift make a difference?
Yes! Each gift, whether $10, $10,000 or $100,000, makes a valuable difference. Your gift, along with gifts from others, helps to continue the level of excellence that Corning Community College has put forth for today's and tomorrow's students.

How will the Foundation manage my investment?
The Finance & Properties Committee of the Foundation (Katherine E. Stickler '86, Chair; Joseph M. Cascio '69; David W. Davies '71; Arthur D. Field; David Lubin; Robert J. White) will oversee the administration of funds, which will be held by local financial institutions.

Is my contribution tax deductible?
Yes. The Corning Community College Development Foundation, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All contributions are tax-deductible.

How will investors be recognized?
All donors will be recognized on our donor wall of honor and will be listed in the CCC Development Foundation, Inc.’s Annual Report. Specific gift amounts will not be included; however, names will be listed by giving ranges. Named endowment funds provide a perpetual recognition opportunity.
